Biblical Girls Name Drop - Girl Names
My OH has decided that our children’s names must be in the Bible, this is a major struggle for someone like me (a name fanatic!), boys names are fine, there’s loads to choose from and some of my favourite names are Biblical. However, for girls it’s a different story.
If he has his way we’d name our daughter [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] which I do love but I know more Abigails/Abbys than any other name. I just can’t do it. His next favourite would be [name_f]Bethany[/name_f], again I like it but it’s quite simple for my taste, I’d prefer something a little more eclectic.
So what I’m asking, please can you drop any Biblical girls names you can think of into this thread please. No matter how common or obscure they are or perhaps they’re even place names or something from the Bible which aren’t generally used as names. Honestly, anything, I need options!
P.S. I’m particularly fond of nicknames so if you have a name that is quite popular but has a quirky nickname you’d think I’d like, please write that too.
